Resizing in HexaMedia means typing the exact pixel width and height you want into the Crop panel (the checkbox is labeled Crop, since resizing and cropping share the same mechanism: you are selecting the region of the image to keep, sized to the numbers you enter). Turn on the aspect-ratio lock and the tool recalculates the second dimension automatically as you type the first, so nothing gets stretched or squeezed out of shape.
Two things worth knowing before you resize. First, this tool only reduces: it never enlarges an image beyond its original pixel dimensions, since scaling up would just blur existing pixels rather than add real detail, so the width and height fields are capped at the source size. Second, when your target proportions differ from the original, the extra content is trimmed off the edges rather than the whole picture being squeezed to fit, so your subject never looks distorted.

Turn on Crop, then enter a width and height in pixels. Toggle the lock icon to keep the original proportions.
Click Optimize images and download. The live preview badge confirms the exact pixel size before you commit.
Enable the lock icon next to the width and height fields, and typing one dimension automatically computes the other from the original proportions, so the resized image looks like a smaller version of the same photo.
Leave the lock off to type width and height independently. Since the tool never stretches pixels, choosing proportions that differ from the original trims the excess instead, so unlock it only when you are fine losing a strip off one side.
You can shrink an image to any size up to its original dimensions, but not beyond. There is no upscale option in this tool, on purpose: stretching existing pixels larger only produces a softer, blockier image, never real extra detail.
The width and height you type apply to every image in the batch, each scaled from its own original size. Since only the first image shows a live preview, double-check the result on files with a very different aspect ratio from the first one.
